The civilization of Sindh is a centuries-old civilization, from whose fertile land precious pearls and diamond-like people have been born, of which the land of Sindh is proud. There is a need to bring their talent to the fore, one of the priceless diamonds of Sindh is Imran Soomro, a young painter, curator, researcher, who is born in Mehrabpur, of district Rural sindh, who is a good-natured, well-mannered, Sufi-minded young artist, who is also a federalist.
As an art teacher in an educational institution since 2013, he has been training the new generation of fine arts through his art. Imran Soomro's professional career went through very difficult phases which he successfully coped with his ability and competence and today he has achieved this position and reputation. In 2012, Imran Soomro got the first position from the Center of Excellence Art and Design Jamshoro and got the silver medal in the field of fine arts. Imran Soomro established himself as a painter by winning citizenship in his first exhibition. He has had numerous solo and group exhibitions in the United States. Dubai, South Korea, India, Philippines, Venezuela, Iran, Turkey, Brazil, Senegal, Nepal, Spanish Mexico, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Karachi.
As an artist, he is skilled in every subject and material of art, including painting, sculpture, miniature drawing and collage, but he prefers painting and miniature according to his Sufi temperament and nature. Imran Soomro is a painter as well as a good photographer and writer. His photography has also been selected in international photography competitions and has also received awards. He continues to organize art workshops, exhibitions and competitions in collaboration with various universities, government, private institutions and NGOs, and also serves as a judge. also continues to draw cartoons for weekly newspapers. He also created the cartoon character (Drab Faqir) of the weekly newspaper Sahti Awaz. Awards were also presented. He loves his teachers unconditionally, which is rewarded by the grades given by his students. Imran Soomro is also a permanent member of the artist organization of New York (Voice of International Professional Artist Association), South Korea's Fantopia Fancy Museum Art Group (FIAG) and Costanza Foundation Italy.
His artwork has also been selected for the permanent collection at the Yokyung Art Museum in Hagumgang Theme Museum in Jeju, South Korea. He also represents Sindh in conferences by International Museum Council Pakistan, currently resides in Hyderabad and runs an art channel to encourage young creatives and give them opportunities at the global level.
